This week we want you to create a "Vintage" looking card or project.

Here is what I made:O)

The image is from Magnolia.
I have coloured with my Derwent Watercolour Pencils and waterbruch.
For the wings I have added some Crystal Stickles.
To give my card a little extra Vintage feel, I distressed the edges of the image and the tag I have put behind it.
The Swirls on the background paper are from Inkadinkado.

To make this card I have used brown Bazzil Basic
Design Papers are from Heritage
The sentiment also is from Heritage

Laces, flowers and Dewdrops are from my stash.

The sentiment on the inside is Norwegin:

"You are never to old to dream new dreams."
I think it goes great with the sentiment on the front.

As always I have my personal "Handmade by" stamp on the back.

Stampin' for the Weekend DT - Challenge #10

This week's challenge over at Stampin' for the Weekend
is a wonderful sketch made by our own Vicki.

The sponsor for this week is Sir Stampalot,
and they are offering this wonderful set of clear stamps:O)

I have used an image from Motivet called "Dexter". He is so cute, and fun to play with:O)
I have coloured with my Derwent Watercolour Pencils and waterbrush.

I have used Brown Bazzil Basic
Design Papers from: Kimberly Poloson and Papirdesign.

The sentiment is from Stampin' Up "Best Yet".

The flowers and buttons are from my stash.
Behind the image I have put a doily.

I have made the butterfly by using Teabag folding.
You can find the tutorial here.

The card is for a dear friend who has her Birthday comming up soon, and the sentiment inside the card is a slogan, in Norwegian, saying:

"If you can smile when everything goes wrong,
If you can bless the bad luck you get.
Then you know the trick of living,
then you know that everything works!"

Happy Birthday.

The sentiments are from a local store, Kort i Hodet.

On the backside of my card, I have put my personal "Handmade by" stamp.

Pop over to Stampin' for the Weekend to have a look at the wonderful creations made by the Design Team:O)

Happy Birthday, Casper;O)

Stampin' for the Weekend.

Takk for at du tittet innom;O)
Ha en fin ettermiddag.
